The library consists of two parts: the central library and the Zhongshan Park library. The library has a collection of 6.28 million volumes of book and documents, including 1.8 million electronic books and 4.48 million printed books, ancient books, periodicals, newspapers, and audiovisual documents.
In July 2023, the library opened a new zone called the "book maze", a space that combines reading, watching, and entertainment to offer a unique experience to visitors.
